Manor Family

#manorfamily

Manor Community Academy is a friendly and inclusive academy which we like to think of as a big family. It's your academy and it will be with you for life. Each member of our family matters to us and no one will leave our doors without a qualification and having enjoyed their experience.

We are setting out on a five-year adventure together which begins with us welcoming you on your first day, and ends with us celebrating your achievements. The safety and happiness of our students means a lot to us and we have strong relationships with our partner primaries to help all our new starters settle in quickly.

At Manor Community Academy all of our students are regarded as individuals. We are focused upon ensuring that everyone is able to realise their potential and achieve their personal best.

We want our pupils to enjoy and engage in their school experience; once you become a Manor Boy or Manor Girl, your school remains with you for life and you are always part of the Manor family.

Mrs Anne Malcolm,

Principal

Our motto is 'Care, Courtesy and Consideration in all that we do.' and, as you will see for yourself, these are not just words - it is our mantra. You will find it running through every aspect of school life including our traditional values such as respect, punctuality, discipline and a smart appearance which help us live, eat and sleep the 'three Cs'.

We like to help everyone to make their voices heard and encourage older pupils to support the development of younger students. Initiatives such as prefects, head boy and girl, academy counsellors, buddies and junior sports leaders encourage everyone to learn to take responsibility and develop leadership skills which will set you up for life.

When it comes to leaving Manor, you will take with you academic achievements and qualifications, vital life skills, fiends and five years of happy memories.

My child settled into school straight away thanks to the warm welcome she received from staff and the other pupils. She enjoyed herself from the first day onwards!.
